6/1/20- 6/7/20 Distance Learning Week Seven
With Diptychs being the most popular submission, I wasn't the least bit surprised that a Diptych won the week :) That coupled with the fact that it was a fantastically composed piece!
Congratulations Sophia! I hope you have fun shopping on Amazon with your gift card!

Here is our link for this week's voting. Another week with successful submissions from each theme! (Sunrise/Sunset, Food Photography, and Abstract.) THIS IS THE LAST VOTE FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR!
Please take the time! Encourage your friends and family to vote as well!
NO MORE CHALLENGES :( Sad for me because I so looked forward to seeing what you would send.
The only and last assignment of the marking period is a survey. It is a Reflection of the Distance Learning process and will help me to adjust this class going forward. Your input is priceless! Please be honest and constructive as you answer the questions. Your email will be collected so I know who to give Credit or No Credit for this final assignment but I hope you will still be candid. Here is the link for the survey.
Next week will be used to complete any missing work in hopes of achieving CREDIT for this marking period and then the semester. No new assignments will be posted next week!
Please continue to check your school email for last minute announcements, progress reports, and notifications about this week's winner :)

5/25/20- 5/31/20 Distance Learning Week Seven
This last week was anybody's guess as to who might win our Top Shot. By Saturday, voting had slowed down AND WE HAD A FOUR WAY TIE so I shared the link with my online Photography Teacher groups. Then the votes started rolling in again :) They all exclaimed how hard it was to pick just one! I agree. You are all making some amazing choices in your shots. I'm collecting all of them for Scholastics next year ;)
I'm so proud of all the work you are submitting. The quality of shots, the strength of each theme being illustrated, and the composition is making me think that I need to incorporate these challenges into my regular classes if and when we go back :) Thank you for producing some amazing pieces!
Skylar is our returning champion this week. She had our winning shot last week with her Toy Photography.
Congratulations Skylar! I hope you have fun shopping on iTunes with your gift card!

5/18/20- 5/24/20 Distance Learning Week Six
We saw a slight drop in voting this week. However, the Top Shot was a definite fan favorite. It connected with a lot of people and led from the start.
Just as a reminder..... It's important to encourage those you know to vote. Anyone can do it! Once ;)
You all continue to represent Photography and PHHS to our community. You are inspiring me to create and I know you're inspiring others with your creativity. Thank you for that!
Skylar had our winning shot last week with her Air Inspired Shot.
Congratulations Skylar! I hope you have fun shopping on iTunes with your gift card!
