Use this extended time at home to have ALL assignments in Skyward, specifically #1-4 on the 'Things to Do" list. We will focus on the Portrait Lighting shots when we come back.
Photopea.com is the free online site that is very Photoshop-like for any editing or watermarking you may need to do. Your current assignments are mostly Google Doc ?'s and the Edpuzzle so it may not be necessary for you.
Photopea is VERY close to Photoshop. If you are not sure how to do a Photoshop step in Photopea, GOOGLE IT.....or email me :)
If you need reminders as to how to do an assignment, scroll down the agendas on this site to find the instruction links or tutorials. If you get stuck or have any questions, email me :)
WHEN YOU COMPLETE AN ASSIGNMENT, EMAIL ME AND I WILL LOOK AT YOUR FOLDER AND YOUR BLOG TO GET YOUR POINTS INTO SKYWARD AND CAUGHT UP!

Bellwork: Title your entry, "To be or not to be.....sensitive #2"
You are shooting at the beach at dusk, the sun has set and there is just a glow in the sky and a reflection on the water. Your friends and the details of the beach are dim with just a touch of leftover sunlight touching their faces. What ISO number would you use? Explain why.
If you need a reminder, here is the slideshow we looked at together.
Today is a work day! Your goal is to have your ISO shots Rubric and Blog Post Rubric turned in by the end of hour today. (Hard copies are on the front table)
Once you are done, take a sneak peak at the next project in this slideshow (We will discuss it together tomorrow.) Then move on to your Artist Research Page (Hard copies are on the front table. Turn in when complete.)

Bellwork: Title your entry, "Camera Setting Review"
The image below is underexposed. The metadata for the photograph is ISO 100, fstop 4.5, and shutter speed 1/125. It is understood that the photo was taken with a tripod and that a shallow depth of field is desired.
Knowing what you do about camera settings, what would you change to get good exposure?
Give two specific possibilities of a setting you would change (ISO, Aperture, or shutter speed) AND what would you change it to?

Yay!!! You came back!!!
Photo 2 will be more independent based as I will be working with Photo 1 students a majority of the time. However, your routine will remain the same:
I will go over directions and give demonstrations as before but following Photo 2. You are the Photography Veterans in the room so I'm relying on you to uphold the expectations you learned from 1st semester. I can't wait to build on where we left off!
You will need a new Google Folder for this class.
Go to your Google Drive and create a new folder.
Title it, 'Last Name, First Name Photo 2' and SHARE IT WITH ME ([email protected])
With the new folder opened, create a new Google Doc. Title it '1 Journal'. As you know this will be your study guide and resource throughout the semester and for the exam.
IF YOU DID NOT POST YOUR FINAL SHOT FROM FIRST SEMESTER TO YOUR WEEBLY SITE WITH YOUR REFLECTION, DO SO. WE'LL BE START COMMENTING ON EACH OTHERS SHOTS THIS WEEK!
Next, the First Project! Read through the Document then begin the video.
